Registration issue, Service Tax

Dear sir,

we had applied for registration in service tax. service tax number allotted by department is ADGT4523ESD003 but such pan uses one time as per my knowledge so why department issued SD003. also i want to know its deferent mean from SD001

Dear Krishan,It means that you have three units which are providing taxable service under Finance Act, 1994. SD001 means having one unit and SD003 means having three independent units at different places as you are not registered as Centralized Service Provider.Please check the facts and authenticity of this matter or you may further, get clarification from the Service Tax Department itself.
