I think your query is not complete. You can file income tax return for the financial year 2011-12 now.

Yes your Question is incomplete, however to my knowledge we cannot file the ITR for FY 2011-12,As the due period is only for 2 years. Hence the due date is 31/03/2014. So it is not possible to file ITR.

In such case you can process in 2 ways:

1.) Request Department for a notice, then you can do Manual return or

2.) Make the Assessee to pay the tax and await for Notice.

Preferability is not to request the department for Notice, make the payment and quiet.
