Leave surrender maximum no.of days

Dear Experts

Every years we are surrendering some Earned Leave. Is their any maximum limit is there is for no. days leave surrendering. Usually 15 days we are surrendering. Whether we can surrender 20 days Leave in a year? If excess leave available at the end of retirement how much no. of days we can encahsh it?

Sir,

The earned leave will be awarded at a rate of 15 days on the 1st of January and 1st of July every year, which shall get credited to your earned leave account if not used in the said 6 months period time.

Earned leave can be accumulated up to 300 days and maximum of 180 days at a time can be availed.

The particulars given by Shri S. Naveed is applicable to Government Departments. Private companies are having their own policy of leave credit and keeping the balance and leave surrender. The policy of your company may be furnished.
