Dear Sir

One of our client wants to establish Independent Custom Bonded Warehouse after obtaining warehousing

license under Section 58 Custom & Central Excise to warehouse the imported goods cleared under Bond

What would be the Supervision Charges of Custom Staff posted at Custom Bonded Warehouse. Do our

client needs to pay supervision charges for full day 24 x 7 for 365 days or the client can pay on MOT basis.

In both the situation what are the supervision charges need to be paid and manner of payment? will the payment

to be made monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually.

The party desirous of availing of the services of officers on overtime basis is required to make prior request for such posting. The Customs scrutinizes the application and ascertains the requirement of the job and calculates the over time fee on the basis of rates prescribed in the Regulations. A separate fee will be charged if either the CHA, vessel, party changes. Once the party pays the overtime fee, the officers are posted to perform customs work.
