As per latest notification to file fresh application for IEC, digi key is required. Now if we purchase Digi key we get token (pen drive type) & we can download online certificate Now in DGFT website we come across "Submit application with Digital Signature" Now what would be the process ?? If we look at DGFT website help guide, we see all oldest method, after that two method has been updated. Can any one explain usage of emundra digi key for DGFT. Dear Kishan, Initially you have to login into DGFT IEC Module using digital Signature meant for DGFT. After uploading all the required documents for IEC i.e PAN Card and Crossed Bank Cheque or Letter from Bank regarding holding of firm/Proprietor / Company etc account, you have to select Sign & Submit application and afterwards option using Digital Signature. Make sure to select "Yes" while submitting the application using digital signature. Select your jurisdictional DGFT Office wherein you would like to transmit the IEC application electronically. Finally the screen will appear which will show the name of user on whom the Digital Signature has been issued, click the same and proceed ahead. File will be transmitted electronically and the message will be shown as file transmitted successfully.

Dear Kishan, Submit Application with Digital Signature and installing token is altogther different. Token installation is simple. Just insert the Token i.e. USB into your computer and run the same. Press continue till the Finish button appears. The token drivers will be installed and afterwards your Digital signtture key is ready to operate. I recommend that in case still you face issues, better to take help from IT person in your company.
Thanks a lot sir for your great help. So the steps goes like this for new IEC. 0. Install Token till finish 1. Login using PAN card in dgft.gov.in 2. Fill all 3 forms (Director, Branch, Master) 3. Pay 500 INR 4. Preview App. 5. Submit with dig sig. (Hear new pop up will automatically come, we need to select the digi key of person) 6. Sign & Submit. Have I got it right ?

Thanks a lot sir. There are two kinds of Digital Key Available. 1. Individual Digital Signature 2. Company Digital Signature. If we are Proprietor or Partner do we need to purchase digital signature of Individual ?? In Proprietor or Partnership, it's a individual who sign the docs. So can we opt for individual digital signature for Proprietor or Partnership firm ??
Dear Friend, I am sure you are already submitting your export incentives applications and applications for EPCG and Advance Authorizations. If your answer is yes, you may have to use the same digital signature key for uploading the documents. If your answer is no, then you have to approach the authorized agency who provide the digital signature certificate with key on payment of fees with a specific validity which is subject to renewal., the same can be used as per the guidelines of the agency.
