Is digital signature mandatory on electronic invoices, Accounting - Auditing

I use an electronic system to generate invoices and send it to customer by email. today it doesnt include any signature. Is it required by law esp GST that each invoice needs to have signature. If yes does it need to be really a digital signature or it can be a soft copy of my signature which can always be used to sign the invoice.

To my knowledge in the revised model GST law there is not provison about digital signature. Hence will have to wait for some more clarity .

However I welcome views of my collegue experts.
