If there is change in product list i,e, any addition/deletion then NIC Code can be changed by providing such information in the application to MSME.

Your industry may be falling under 26409. If you are changing the economic activity then you may approach to MSME and make changes as per the guidelines of MSME.

Steps involved for approaching to MSME:-

1. Draft a letter, give reasons with documentary proofs for seeking change in NIC Code from existing one.
2. Meet with the jurisdictional authority over there, have discussions and submit the letter.
3. Deposit the prescribed fees, if any
4. Follow-ups and get it done.
