Cancellation procedure of shipping bill no and LEO Date

  • Contents

Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that, we have filed shipping bills at DICT Sonepat and after Custom Clearance container were moved to Pipavav, India by Rail for further sailing of consignment.

Then due to some technical problem in shipments, we applied for Back to town procedure of these container
Customs has completed back to town procedure manually, because customs officials were not aware of LEO Date Cancellation procedure on system online.

But, LEO Date was not cancelled at custom computers even shipping bills are also appearing on icegate site, Customs officials informed us to get shipping bill and leo date cancelled on later stage and we were also in hurry to move containers at our factory because these container were incurring heavy Detention and demmurage.

shippping bill nos. and LEO Date is not cancelled on customs computer. So, shipping bill number will appear on our bank site and they will keep on reminding us to submit export documents and payments are awaited for these shipments.

To Avoid banks Reminder against these shipping bills, we need to cancel these shipping bill and their LEO Date. on custom computer or NIC Division. then these shipping bill will not appear on Bank's Site. against our IEC.

Please advice procedure of cancellation of LEO Date

Regards
Harkirat Singh

Take help from ICEGATE and your jurisdictional Customs Authorities. show them the manual permissions regarding back to town procedures.

via export data processing and monitoring system (edpms) things could be corrected via customs/banks.
