Getting notice Regarding GSTR-1 Late Fee for the FY 2020-21 any waiver notification available during the FY 2020-21 ?

Notification No. 53/20-CT dated 24.06.20 waives late fee for the period April, 20 to June, 20 in respect of delayed filing of GSTR-1.

GSTR-3B late fee is payable automatically as the portal calculates at the time of filing of returns. That is not the case with GSTR-1. So many are not aware or are assuming this is waived. Though late fee is applicable for GSTR-1 as well.
