Exemption from Excise Duty, Central Excise

Dear  Team,

Is any exemption available from Excise duty, which is being charged by the supplier:

(i) On purchase of  DG set  for exsiting business of Poultry products

(ii) On installation of New cold storage for exsiting business of Poultry produts

please quote relevant section, notification etc, for exemption. (if available)

Are you registered with the Excise department for carrying out business relating to Poultry products 

Are such products taxable.. ??

Kindly let me know the chapter subheading under which your product is classified under the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 please.
