Dear Pathak ji In addition to above, for your ease, I wish to mention here that now Nepal export is like any other export made to any other countries, except to Bhutan , However export to Nepal can be made in Indian currency also. In place of nepal invoice you need to use ARE-1.
In continution to the aforesaid, if exports are being sent and payment are being received in India Rupees then there would not be any benefit available under export promotion scheme and if the goods are being imported and futher exported to Nepal, even then, no duty drawback will be available under Section 74 of the Customs Act, 1962.
Dear Neeraj Ji, there is little bit confussion on payment receive in Indian currency because of notification no 29/2011 is also saying "2) sub-paragraph (2) relating to “Export to Nepal in bond against payment in Indian rupee.” shall be omitted; It will be thankful to you if guide us about it & can be make our export to nepal without payment of Excise duty when we recive payment in Indian rupee?
Dear Suminder Patial, Neither Rule 18 or Rule 19 of Central Excise Rule, 2002, nor the above mentioned notifications make any distinction on the basis of mode of payment of currency for exports. It is therefore clarified that exports to Nepal will continue to be permissible irrespective of whether the payments are made in Indian currency or foreign convertible currency as long as they are in accordance with applicable RBI guidelines. Pls. refer - Circular No. 961/04/2012-CX., Dated: March 26, 2012 Regards, Sanjay Sharma
Yes I do agree with Mr Sharma.
Hi, Dont you think so that Drawback and other EXport Promotion Benefits should be allowed even if the billing is in INR to Nepal?
Dear Sir, will we submit BRC in excise department for final proof of export or can we submit bank statement in excise department for final proof of export. thanks Page: 1 Old Query - New Comments are closed. |
