The consignments relating to the writ petitions had reached Chennai Port, on 5.12.2011 and 12.8.2011. In view of the said submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondents, this Court finds it appropriate to release the goods in question, relating to the Bills of Entry No.5368893, dated 3.12.2011, and No.5381670, dated 5.12.2011, subject to the petitioner executing a bond for a sum of Rs.48,54,000/ and furnishing a bank guarantee for Rs.5,00,000/-, to the satisfaction of the respondent concerned.
