..... on or off-shore oil exploitation, from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of 25 per cent ad valorem and from the whole of the additional duty, if any, leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act, subject to the condition that the importer produces, at the time of clearance of goods, a certificate issued by the Member-Secretary of the Empowered Committee on the Indigenisation of the Oil Field Equipments and Services of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India certifying that the said goods are essential for the purposes of the said off .....
