GOVINDARAJAN - Goods and Services Tax - GST - Dated:- 8-5-2017 - - Refund Section 54 of the Central Goods and Services Tax, 2017 ( Act for short) provides the procedure for the refund of tax. Section 54(5) provides that the proper officer, on receipt of refund application, is satisfied that the whole or part of the amount claimed as refund is refundable, he may make an order accordingly and the amount so determined shall be credited to the Fund referred to in section 57 .
