From 2006 till 29.03.2018, 112 brands have obtained approval of Government for SBRT activities. FDI upto 100% under automatic route has been allowed in SBRT vide Press Note 1 of 2018 which was subsequently notified vide Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of Security by a Person Resident Outside India) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 on 26/03/2018.
