Imported Goods Value Reassessment: Engineer Certificate Rejected, NIDB Data Directed.

The CESTAT rejected the Chartered Engineer's certificate and value determination for the imported goods, holding that the Engineer failed to justify the quality differences and provide details on suppliers/manufacturers for comparison. The Tribunal directed reassessment of value based on contemporaneous import/NIDB data or sequential Valuation Rules after providing relevant documents to the Appellant.
