Mutual Fund authorized for Aadhaar authentication to comply with anti-money laundering laws.

Notifications     Money Laundering

The Central Government authorized Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund to perform Aadhaar authentication under the Aadhaar Act for the purposes of section 11A of the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002. This authorization was granted after being satisfied that the reporting entity shall comply with the privacy and security standards under the Aadhaar Act, and upon consultation with the Unique Identification Authority of India and the Securities and Exchange Board of India as the appropriate regulator.
