Income-tax (Third Amendment) Rules, 2010 [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUBSECTION (ii)] MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES) Notification No. 29/2010 New Delhi , dated 23rd April, 2010 S.O. 943(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962 , namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Third Amendment) Rules, 2010. (2)They shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2010. 2. In the Income-tax Rules, 1962 , (a) in rule 12 , - (i) in sub-rule (1), for the figures 2009 , the figures 2010 shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-rule (5), for the figures 2008 , the figures 2009 shall be substituted; (b) in Appendix-II, for Forms ITR-1 and ITR-V, the following forms shall be substituted, namely:- Click here for the see full form or text [F.No.142/28/2009 -TPL] (PAWAN K.
