The Maharashtra State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission upheld the District Forum's decision in a case involving the purchase of shares, awarding compensation of Rs. 1,000 to the complainant for a delay in transferring shares. The appeal claiming Rs. 70,000 as compensation was dismissed due to lack of evidence supporting the higher amount.
