The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT, Bangalore allowed the stay application filed by the applicants for waiver of pre-deposit of duty amounting to Rs. 14,36,000/- and penalty of Rs. 5,00,000/- under Central Excise Rules, 1944. The Tribunal considered the jurisdiction issue raised by the applicants and granted the stay application unconditionally.
