The Appellate Tribunal CESTAT, Mumbai dismissed the application for extension of stay as it was filed beyond the 180-day limit from the stay order. The prayer to treat it as a fresh application under Section 35F was not accepted due to Rule 28A of the CESTAT (Procedure) Rules.
