2001 (11) TMI 35 - HC - Income Tax

The High Court of Punjab and Haryana acquitted Desh Raj, a partner of a firm, in a case under section 276C of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The court found that Desh Raj was not managing the firm's affairs and the evidence did not prove the charges against him. The petition for leave to appeal was dismissed.
