2001 (9) TMI 1104 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh quashed a circular issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes regarding the collection of advance tax on the movement of groundnuts and groundnut seeds. The Court held that the circular was without authority of law and therefore null and void. The writ petition was allowed, and no costs were awarded.
