Nature of the Land and Compensation Rights: The appellants contended that the lands were classified as 'Gairmumkin Pahad' and 'Banjar Kadim' in the revenue records of 1907 and 1908. They argued that the respondents were entitled only to compensation payable to a holder of Bhumidari rights as per the Delhi Land Reforms Act, necessitating a conjoint reading of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 22, 23, and 154 of the Act. 2.
