1997 (10) TMI 395 - HC - VAT and Sales Tax

The applicant imported cement without being registered under the Central Sales Tax Act. The Tribunal imposed a penalty, but it was reduced from Rs. 26,000 to Rs. 5,000 by the High Court due to mistakes on both sides. The revision is disposed of with no costs.
