2014 (1) TMI 1773 - HC - Money LaunderingOpportunity to the petitioner to cross examine witnesses as prayed for in application under Section 11 of the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act - Held that - When the Adjudicating Authority under PMLA is seized of the matter, no interference is called for in the present writ petition. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to raise this grievance in the event it is aggrieved by the final order to be passed by Adjudicating Authority under PMLA.
The Delhi High Court allowed the petition seeking direction for cross-examination of witnesses under the Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002. The court stated that no interference is needed at this stage, but the petitioner can raise the grievance later if aggrieved by the final order of the Adjudicating Authority. The writ petition and application were disposed of accordingly.
