2017 (2) TMI 1344 - SCH - Indian LawsPractice under the Architects Act, 1972 - Held that - the High Court was in error in rejecting the contention of the appellant that practice under the Architects Act, 1972 is not restricted only to the architects - It is not correct to say that any one can practice as an architect even if he is not registered under the Architects Act, 1972 - appeal disposed off.
The Supreme Court upheld the Bombay High Court's judgment dated November 29, 2004 in Writ Petition No.1830 of 1988. The Court clarified that practice under the Architects Act, 1972 is restricted to registered architects, not open to anyone. The appeals were disposed of accordingly.
