2013 (10) TMI 848 - SCH - Central Excise


The Supreme Court ordered the petitioner to deposit Rs. 4 crores with the Adjudicating Authority by a certain date to prevent dismissal of their appeals. The petitioner complied with the order, allowing the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) to proceed with hearing the appeals. The CESTAT was directed to decide the appeals within six months. Special Leave Petition was disposed of.
