1982 (3) TMI 2 - HC - Income Tax
The High Court of Madhya Pradesh held that the remuneration of Rs. 18,000 paid to the karta of a HUF for managing family business is allowable as a deduction if it is genuine and in the interest of the business. The Tribunal's decision to allow the deduction was upheld. The court ruled in favor of the assessee.
