The Supreme Court of India ruled that flat rectangular pieces made of martensitic steel used in forming plastic laminates are classifiable as "moulds" under Heading 84.60 of the Customs Tariff. The appeals by the manufacturers of laminated sheets were dismissed. No costs were awarded.
