1998 (3) TMI 157 - HC - Customs

The revision petitioner was convicted under the Customs Act for importing gold biscuits without payment of duty. The sentence was modified to rigorous imprisonment for six months and a fine of Rs. 30,000. Set off given for previous imprisonment under COFEPOSA Act.
