The Delhi High Court, in a judgment by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Subramonium Prasad, considered a Writ Petition challenging a communication from the GNCTD to the Directorate of Enforcement. The Petitioners sought to declare as false and incorrect a specific letter and requested its quashing, along with related relief. Upon realizing the principal challenge was against the communication, the Petitioners withdrew the Writ Petition with liberty to challenge any consequential action by the ED. The Court granted leave and liberty for this withdrawal and also allowed the Petitioner to challenge a specific order by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise Licensing Authority. Consequently, the Writ Petition was disposed of as withdrawn, with pending applications also being resolved.
