2025 (2) TMI 1169 - SCH - Money LaunderingSeeking grant of bail - Money Laundering - scheduled offences - illegal sand/mineral mining operations conducted by the present applicant - it was held by High Court that No case for grant of bail has been made out in terms of Section 45 of the PML Act as there exist reasonable grounds for believing that the applicant is guilty of such offence. HELD THAT - The impugned order being interim in nature will not have any bearing on the Writ Petition which is yet to be disposed of. Appeal disposed off.
The Supreme Court, in an order delivered by Hon'ble Justices M.M. Sundresh and Prashant Kumar Mishra, addressed a Special Leave Petition related to an interim order. The Court clarified that "the impugned order, being interim in nature, will not have any bearing on the Writ Petition which is yet to be disposed of," specifically Crl. W.P. No.2/2025 pending before the High Court of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla. Consequently, the Special Leave Petition was disposed of, along with any pending applications.
