The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, New Delhi ruled that quilt fabrics in running length are not excisable products and upheld the decision of the lower Appellate Authority. The respondents' plea that quilt fabrics are not marketable without edge binding was accepted, and the appeal was rejected.
