1999 (1) TMI 219 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai modified the order, reducing the deposit amount from Rs. 20.00 lacs to Rs. 15.00 lacs for an applicant in a case involving a demand of Rs. 85.45 lacs. The High Court's decision in a similar case influenced the modification. Compliance was required by 2-2-1999.
