2000 (10) TMI 345 - AT - Central Excise

The Appellate Tribunal CEGAT, Mumbai ordered the waiver of duty deposit of Rs. 74,676 demanded for doubling of yarn containing polyester and cotton. The Tribunal directed a deposit of Rs. 40,000 within six weeks, waiving the remaining amount of duty and staying its recovery. Compliance was required by 27-10-2000.
