Wheat Flour (Atta) - Standards of Input Output Norms (SION) - E. Food ProductsExtract 1 [SION Export Item Quantity Import Item Quantity E-136 Wheat Flour (Atta) 1.00 Kg Wheat 1.07 Kg Note: For the purpose of this SION, 'wheat flour (atta)' implies to 'whole wheat flour (atta)' and the same is to be endorsed as technical characteristic while applying for the Advance Authorization. The Advance Authorization (AA) under this SION is subject to the following conditions: i. The Advance Authorization (AA) shall be issued only to flour millers. ii. The AA shall be issued with pre-import condition. iii. The SION is valid until 'wheat' is prohibited for exports. Thereafter, no further AA will be issued under the SION. AAs already issued will continue to operate in the normal course. iv. The Bills of Entry against which wheat has been imported shall be confirmed by Custom Authorities while allowing exports. v. Procurement of wheat from Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) is not permissible in any case against the Advance Authorization. ] 2 [Note 2 : In the SION E-136 , items, i.e, Multi Grain Atta or Fortified Whole Wheat Atta are also allowed to be exported subject to the below mentioned conditions: a. Exported item shall contain at least 80% or more of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) and other ingredients being added like soya flour, oatmeal, fenugreek powder, vitamins, etc. will be domestically sourced. b. Import entitlement of Wheat under the Advance Authorisation for such export items, i.e. Multi Grain Atta or Fortified Whole Wheat Atta will be calculated in proportion to the percentage of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) in the export item, i.e. for every 1 Kg of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta), import of 1.07 Kg of Wheat will be allowed. c. The export description in the shipping bill will clearly indicate the percentage content of Whole Wheat Flour and other ingredients being added. ] 3 [ Note 3: Export of 'Wheat Flour (Atta) with Millets' is also allowed subject to the conditions that : a. The export item will contain a minimum of 65% Wheat Flour (Atta) a minimum of 15% Millets in addition to other ingredients (if any). b. Import entitlement of Wheat under the Advance Authorization for such export items, i.e. 'Wheat Flour Atta with Millets' will be calculated in proportion to the %age content of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) in the export item, i.e. for export of every 1 Kg of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta), import of 1.07 Kg of Wheat will be allowed. c. Millets other ingredients being added to the export item will be domestically sourced. d. The export description in the SB will clearly indicate the % age content of Whole Wheat Flour, % age content of Millets and other ingredients being added. e. All other conditions specified earlier in Public Notice No. 38/2015-20 dated 25.11.2022 and Public Notice No. 62/2015-20 dated 23.03.2023 will continue to be in force. ] *************** NOTES:- 1.
