THE EIGHTH SCHEDULE [Section 71(1)] Provisions of CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004 to be amended Amendment Date of effect of amendment (1) (2) (3) Rule 3 of the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004 as published vide notification number G.S.R. 600(E), dated the 10th September, 2004 [23/2004-CENTRAL EXCISE (N.T.), dated the 10th September, 2004] In the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, in rule 3, in sub-rule (1), (a) in clause (ix), the word and occurring at the end shall be omitted; (b) after clause (14, the following clause shall be inserted, namely: (ixa) the service tax leviable under section 66Aof the Finance Act; and . 18th April, 2006.
