Regulation 1 - Short title and commencement - Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998

M.F. (D.R.) Notification No. 87/98-Cus. (N.T.), dated 9-11-1998 as amended. In exercise of the powers conferred by 1 [ section 157 read with section 84 ] of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the Courier Imports (Clearance) Regulations, 1995, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations, namely :- REGULATION 1. Short title and commencement. - 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Amendment Regulations, 1998. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. *********** NOTES:- 1.
