Registered documents of foreign companies which cease to have any place of business in India shall be destroyed after expiry of three years from the date such company ceases to have any place of business in India in accordance with the following procedure: The Registrar of Companies, Delhi, shall intimate to the Registrar concerned his intention to destroy the documents and other records of a particular company by a certain date, two weeks in advance thereof and the Registrar concerned shall, on receipt of such intimation, destroy the said documents at the same time and communicate to the Registrar of Companies, Delhi, the fact of such destruction.
