Article 27 - Limitation of benefits - Syrian Arab Republic

ARTICLE 27 LIMITATION OF BENEFITS A resident of a Contracting State shall not be entitled to the benefit of any reduction in or exemption from tax provided for in this Agreement if its affairs were arranged in such a manner that the primary purpose was to obtain the benefits under this Agreement. The cases of legal entities not having bona fide business activities shall be covered by the provisions of this Article.
