CHAPTER VII PUBLIC DEBT MANAGEMENT AGENCY PART I PRELIMINARY Extent and commencement of this Chapter 118. (1) This Chapter extends to the whole of India: Provided that the provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to the State of Jammu and Kashmir, unless that State adopts the provisions of this Chapter by passing a resolution in that behalf under clause (1) of article 252 of the Constitution of India. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Chapter.
