Clause 136 - Accounts, audit and reports - Finance Bill, 2015Extract Accounts, audit and reports 136. (1) The Agency shall maintain accounts and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts, in such form, as may be prescribed by the Central Government in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India. (2) The accounts of the Agency shall be audited annually by the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India. (3) The Board must prepare and submit to the Central Government an annual report within a period of ninety days from the end of a financial year, and such other reports, in such form and manner, as may be prescribed by the Central Government. (4) The accounts of the Agency as certified by the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India or any other person appointed by him in this behalf, and the audit report thereon shall be forwarded annually to the Central Government. (5) The Central Government shall cause the accounts as certified by the Comptroller and Auditor- General of India or any other person appointed by him in this behalf, the audit report thereon and the annual report, to be laid before each House of Parliament.
