2. Definitions . - In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires - Chairman means the Chairman of the Commission; Vice-Chairman means a Vice-Chairman of the Commission; Member means a Member of the Commission; Commission means the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission constituted under Chapter V of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and Chapter XIV (A) of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962)
