MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th May, 2000 G.S.R. 469(E). - In exercise of the power conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution , the President hereby makes the makes the following rules regulating the recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed as Chairman, vice-Chairmen and Members of the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission namely: - 1 . Short title and Commencement - (1) These rules may be called the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Members) Rules 2000. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.
