Notice before inspection. 18. (1) Before undertaking an inspection under regulation 17, the inspecting authority shall give a notice to the concerned intermediary: Provided that where the inspecting authority is satisfied that in the interest of the investors no such notice should be given, it may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, dispense with such notice. (2) During the course of inspection, the intermediary shall be bound to discharge its obligations provided under regulation 19.
