Omitted by the Direct Tax Laws (Amendment) Act, 1987, w.e.f. 1-4-1989 Prior to its omission, section 276E was inserted by the Income-tax (Second Amendment) Act, 1981, w.e.f. 11-7-1981 and later on amended by the Taxation Laws (Amendment Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1986, w.e.f. 10-9-1986.
