2. Definitions.- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires- (a) Chairman means the Chairman of the Commission; (b) Vice-Chairman means a Vice-Chairman of the Commission; (c) Member means a Member of the Commission; and (d) Commission means the Customs and Central Excise Settlement Commission constituted under chapter V of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and Chapter XIV (A) of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962)
