[As per the Proviso to Section 143(3B) this scheme is effective upto 31.3.2021 only] MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF DIRECT TAXES) NOTIFICATION NO. 61/2019 New Delhi, the 12th September, 2019 (INCOME-TAX) S.O. 3264(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3A) of section 143 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. (1) This Scheme may be called the 1 [ Faceless Assessment ] Scheme, 2019. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. ************ NOTES:- 1.
