RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (FOREIGN EXCHANGE DEPARTMENT) NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 22nd August, 2022 Foreign Exchange Management (Overseas Investment) Regulations, 2022 No. FEMA 400/2022-RB. -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 47 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Reserve Bank hereby makes the following regulations, namely: 1. Short title and commencement. (1) These regulations may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Overseas Investment) Regulations, 2022. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
